Umpiring Little League Games
If you are interested in being a Little League umpire in 2012, please contact our Umpire Coordinators or calling 541-632-3551.
Umpire Application Process
To become an umpire, we will need:
- A volunteer application (available below or at our two Registration/Evaluation days)
- A clear copy of your driver's license (front and back).
- Attendance at mandatory coaches umpire clinic.
- A signed Zero Tolerance form (available below or at our two Registration/Evaluation days)
We greatly appreciate your interest in umpiring Youth Baseball and Softball in Lane County.
Little League Umpire Resource Center
It is not enough to know the rules of the games of baseball and softball, however. Being a Little League umpire also means being able to fairly and impartially enforce those rules in the context of a game for kids.
Umpire Clinic Manual
This publication has been written to assist the Little League Volunteer Umpires to better understand how to apply the rules of Little League Baseball and the proper mechanics of umpiring.
